To everyone reading my blog

After doing a tonne of research on blogging, I have decided to use blog to earn my first $1,000/month income. I will be writing 2 to 3 posts a day for the next 3 months. If it proves to be successful then I will open a class in my city - Hong Kong. I hope you can leave me some comments and suggestions during my journey.

Day 2 Earning: $0.94 - Working Hours: 4 hour

I got 5 clicks today($0.94), and one email subscribed. Less than 2 cents/click is bad I think. I think it is a good start :) However, I open my mailbox and receive an email from blogcatalog and it says my blog submission has been declined.

"Your blog was declined for the following reason: The URL you submitted is not a blog, is solely for commercial purposes, or is suspected to be spam."

Again here is my blog: http://acid-reflux-tips.blogspot.com/, does it looks like a spam or MFA blog?

What I do today - Promotion/Link building Section:
  • Google analytics is sending me data today, I've got 28 unique visitors. I then check the traffic source, it showed that 3 people who are typing my affiliate products name - Refluxamine - in search engine are coming to my blog. Hmm...not bad, my blog post (refluxamine) is ranking #22in GoogleSERP, ranking #22 (against 14,700 results with quotes) still get 3 visitors/day is pretty good I think.
  • I create a squidoo lens, and I hope I can get some traffic from it, I will update the lens everytime I have new post. Here is my lens: Heartburn Cures
  • I write a very general heartburn article and submit to ezinearticles and goarticles, i just do this for backlinks, and therefore i didn't care much about the keyword density.
  • Submit my link to a few directories today. I type "heartburn" - submit link at Google to find the directories that related to my topic, am I doing right?
  • Play around yahoo answer, answer a few questions and put my blog url in the source area.
What I do today - Content/Keywords
  • I add a unique recipe "Hearty Beef Stew" in my blog today. I submit to digg/stumble and onlywire. Someone tell me I cannot submit too many stories from one unique URL in stumble, is that true?

Hi, this is really great beginning for a blog. I've just started my own blog on related topic. Come and see my blog and maybe you'll want to become my first neighbor on blogcatalog widget:)
